"Our friends at Busara Promotions asked if we could help them produce a short film about their 3rd annual festival in February 2006. We were all only to happy to help. Aubrey and Lisa worked alongside Zanzibar's Dullawise Productions throughout the festival and the result is an electric little film with music from Zanzibar and beyond. Jagwa Music meet the Shrine Synchrosystem, Taffetas meet Makame Faki."

Bi Kidude is a living legend on her home island of Zanzibar, and has beguiled audiences around the world on her wide and varied travels. A favourite of sultans, presidents, and sailors, her story is remarkable, challenging our perception of age (she's ninety three, going on sixteen), and of women in a Muslim society. To see her up close in her humble home then out on the town, smoking and flirting is a unique experience.
