The festival will be held from 13-16 February 2014. The online application form is on our website HERE or a paper version can be collected at our offices in Maisara, opposite Golf Club, in Zanzibar.

top 25 festival

Sauti za Busara is widely recognized as one of the best and most important festivals on the African continent. For the past three years running, it was named one of the Top 25 International Festivals by the acclaimed Songlines Magazine. The festival is operated on a not-for-profit, charitable basis. Daily tickets for festival cost less than US$2 for Tanzanian Citizens. To help keep it this way, we rely on the generous support of donors, sponsors, and “Friends of Busara.”

We have ingenious ways that you or your company/organisation can be seen as part of the festival’s success, including acknowledgements before, during and

after the festival both in the main venue and supporting venues, in TV, radio and press, and online on our website and social media platforms. Last year our website alone received more than 2 million hits during January and July. If you are interested in supporting the festival, please email Cynthia at marketing@busara.or.tz
