Call for Partners

We are pleased to be able to acknowledge the faith, vision and support of donors, sponsors and partners, without whom Sauti za Busara would not be possible.
Supporting the biggest music festival in East Africa will give your organisation or company great visibility in the run up to the festival and beyond.

The festival acknowledges all donors and main sponsors with logos on the festival homepage and donors and sponsors page (last January alone www.busaramusic.org generated 3.4 million hits); partners also receive wide visibility in newsletter updates (reaching more than 64,000 subscribers worldwide), festival programmes, venue banners, stage announcements, in press releases and more…

We welcome all supporters, big and small. For just $600, you could be a “Friend of Busara” -- we offer links to your business from festival website pages and e-newsletters. Advertising space is also available in our souvenir festival programme.
If you are interested in partnering with the “Friendliest music festival on the planet”, email marketing@busara.or.tz for more information.

Blue Bay Retreat

Busara Promotions, the NGO behind Sauti za Busara, is hard at work on our next 5-year Strategic Plan. Thank you to the Board of Trustees, management, senior staff, and distinguished guests from Tanzania’s arts and culture sector for joining us at Bluebay Beach Resort in Kiwengwa, Zanzibar, in September for a planning retreat.

We are also pleased to announce three new Board Members to our Board of Trustees.

Welcome to the family, Julia Bishop, Verena Knippel, and Ally Saleh!

Finally, Busara Promotions introduced our first Sauti Zetu regional show in Nungwi, Zanzibar in the 3rd weekend of September. The mini-festival featured four local groups from the Northern Region: Kidumbak, Dumu, Mchikicho, and Pungwa.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support Zanzibar’s talented musicians and to celebrate the musical culture of the island! And we look forward to seeing you at our special Dar showcase on 29 November as well…
