Routes in RhythmWhile our main focus, as you have probably gathered by now, is to promote the wealth and diversity of Swahili music at home and abroad, we also hope to open the ears, hearts and minds of our local audiences to music from other parts of Africa and the world. Under the project name Routes in Rhythm, we continue to play our choice of music at full-moon parties and other beach-side events around the island.  These are enormously popular, with locals and visitors alike; partying til dawn to the latest sounds and classic cuts from the African continent and diaspora.

DJ Yusuf & Routes in Rhythm sounds from around the world return to Zanzibar’s favourite beach location Kendwa Rocks for the Full Moon Party monthly from Sat 12 November 2011. 6pm til 3am, entrance 10,000/- TSh (US$6)
