Afrigo Band was founded by Moses Matovu and the late Charles Sekyanzi in 1975. They play a variety of styles including original compositions and covers. Afrigo Band strived through the difficult times Idi Amin and Obote 2 regimes, whilst continually entertaining the masses. Existing for 42 years, Afrigo Band is one of the longest surviving groups in the region. The group has recorded 15 albums that are greatly appreciated by young and old alike.
