Tritonik
Country Mauritius Genres acoustic traditional Festival Sauti za Busara 2014 Recordings 📼 Project one, 2012
Eric Triton, the Mauritian blues sun, dawns on an adventurous musical journey: Tritonik. This time they are three and they do shine, soulfully, as one. A Sega tainted Blues groove spiced up with African rhythms and Indian fire, Eric Triton fuses with fellow countrymen, Norbert Planel, on percussions, and Shakti Ramchurn, on tabla, to give off one rare and raw musical experience that sublimes as being unique. Tritonik is pure volcanic Mauritian energy with an understandable discourse. They will their music to go beyond themselves and they fight their way to free their people's mind from their contextual manacles.
