Sauti za Busara is one of Africa’s top music festivals. The festival attracts people from all over the world to celebrate African music. At the same time, it builds skills and promotes livelihoods for the people of Tanzania. The event is organised by the NGO Busara Promotions, registered in Zanzibar since 2003.

Sauti za Busara is widely promoted, locally and globally. The festival website generates up to 2 million hits /month during October through February. Benefits offered for your brand association with the event are numerous, including coverage on TV, radio, print and social media, in festival newsletters, branding at festival venues and press conferences, with complimentary tickets offered for staff and clients.

  • 20,000 people attend over four days.
  • 27% of the audience is aged 12-24, 63% is aged 25-44 and 10% are 45 years or older.
  • 54% are female and 46% are male.
  • 51% are Tanzanians. 49% are from across Africa, Europe, America and Asia
  • 40% of festival audiences return year on year.

Selling tickets is not a problem, but these cover only 30% of festival costs.
