TulimukuzungaThe Planets is a cultural group that was started in 1990 to encourage preservation of Uganda's cultural heritage. The group has trained its members in various Ugandan traditional dances. The Planets is one of the leading traditional dance groups in Uganda, performing regularly in national festivities, campaign events as well as for visiting VIPs. The group has visited a number of countries in Europe, Asia and Africa, including Sweden, Portugal, UK, Germany, India, Kenya and Tanzania. In 2005 The Planets won the PAM Award as best cultural group in Uganda. They have four CD releases as listed below.
Annet Nandujja is the lead singer and composer who featured on most of Uganda's radio and television stations as a powerful leader for the group. She has also been involved in various educational visits abroad.
